  Our format is simple! The Single Mom EmpowerMent meetings brings speakers (professionals from  various sectors of the community) to share insights and guidance to better position women to raise their children more effectively and successfully.Topic areas range from improving parenting skills, adult education, successful financial management to the basics of car maintenance, etc. Each meeting lasts about an hour and a half. The meetings are expeditious, organized and structured. The meetings are designed to motivate and inspire single mothers to be better parents and balanced, fulfilled women We support women parenting alone in the following broad areas:
The meetings are designed for single moms exclusively. Childcare is not provided. We ask that moms treat this as a personal day for themselves - a part of their own self-care. As a result, we ask that no children attend meetings. |
